Pure Piping were responsible for the installation of the process services package for the MSD Animal Health facility upgrade project, in East Bendigo. This package included the supply and install of new pipework, and associated equipment, including valves, strainers, filters, pumps, gauges for the following systems:
- Purified Water loop
- Clean steam
- Plant steam
- Compressed air
- CIP system
- Hydrochloric acid
- Caustic
- Chilled water
- Heating hot water
- Product
- Trade waste
- Miscellaneous gases
The team worked very well together and in conjunction with other trades onsite and kept a positive working attitude despite long hours and tight deadlines, to create a positive team-orientated working environment. Quality of workmanship of installed pipework, along with submission of QA documentation packages, is second to none. I highly recommend Pure Piping’s services and I commend the hands-on, approachable management style displayed throughout this project.

Pure Piping have been an integral part of our project from the initial stages of the project in the construction, installation and commissioning phases.
Post Tender, our design required further user input and design clarification and Pure Piping were particularly proactive with their interactions on all matters relating to specialised gases. Their prior experience was invaluable during our gas HAZOP and Risk Assessments providing fundamental inputs to ensure the clients’ needs were being appropriately met, as well as appropriate Standards. All works were followed up with engineering verifications working with our Consultants and any issues raised by Pure Piping were done in a best-for-project and collaborative manner. Onsite, their workmanship was second to none in quality including interactions with their site personnel, where nothing was too hard to resolve. They further assisted our client with design and management of the Gas Cabinet and Valve Box supplier and were able to provide clear and concise explanations in relation to technical elements for us and our client to understand and make educated decisions. Their industry experience left both ourselves and our client at ease given the highly dangerous nature of the gases within the facility.

Pure Piping successfully completed the installation works associated with the process and process services piping for the Subfractionation plant area of the new IgLAB Module IV pharmaceutical facility at CSL Behring in Broadmeadows.
The Pure Piping team worked well together, and attended to challenges with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. They were structured and well organised on the construction site, with direct hands-on involvement of managers. The team demonstrated flexibility when requested to temporarily redeploy to complete the installation of a separate plant area on a tight shutdown schedule.

This Oral Solid Dose Project involved the installation of a new Purified Water system including; a 7000L tank, heat exchanger and sterilising unit. Pure Piping was also responsible for other base building services like clean steam, ethanol, medium pressure steam & condensate, pharma & instrument air, hot & cold water and nitrogen. These services interfaced with the following pieces of equipment; tablet coater, 2no. fluid bed dryers, a tablet press, automated lifters, granulator and a dry mill. Pure Piping co-ordinated with the client, head contractor and superintendent throughout the entire process ensuring all services were delivered in a timely manner.

Working with the Mark, Andrew and the Pure Piping team at Mayne Pharma was a valuable experience. I worked with them recently on a project with various time constraints, demanding long hours with challenges constantly emerging. Pure Piping were contracted to complete modification of existing services, as well as installation of new GMP services.
