Moderna’s “Project Resilience” is Australia’s first large-scale mRNA research hub and vaccine manufacturing facility, and Moderna’s first facility outside of North America. It will expand the Moderna global manufacturing footprint for pandemic preparedness. The facility will produce up to 100 million vaccine doses annually, making it the largest producer of mRNA vaccines in Asia-Pacific. This will include COVID-19 booster shots as well as mRNA vaccines for other respiratory viruses such as influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Pure Piping were engaged to deliver the Process scope (mechanical pipework and electrical), including additional detailed design, procurement of items, installation, pressure testing, passivation, quality assurance and commissioning protocols/execution.
