Pure Piping successfully completed the installation works associated with the process and process services piping for the Subfractionation plant area of the new IgLAB Module IV pharmaceutical facility at CSL Behring in Broadmeadows.

The Pure Piping team worked well together, and attended to challenges with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. They were structured and well organised on the construction site, with direct hands-on involvement of managers. The team demonstrated flexibility when requested to temporarily redeploy to complete the installation of a separate plant area on a tight shutdown schedule.

This Oral Solid Dose Project involved the installation of a new Purified Water system including; a 7000L tank, heat exchanger and sterilising unit. Pure Piping was also responsible for other base building services like clean steam, ethanol, medium pressure steam & condensate, pharma & instrument air, hot & cold water and nitrogen. These services interfaced with the following pieces of equipment; tablet coater, 2no. fluid bed dryers, a tablet press, automated lifters, granulator and a dry mill. Pure Piping co-ordinated with the client, head contractor and superintendent throughout the entire process ensuring all services were delivered in a timely manner.

Working with the Mark, Andrew and the Pure Piping team at Mayne Pharma was a valuable experience. I worked with them recently on a project with various time constraints, demanding long hours with challenges constantly emerging.
